1.  The quality of artwork you submit has a direct effect on the final product you receive.
Use the "file type" description below to determine the best file type to send.

2.  COLOR PROOFING.  We like to receive a hard copy print of any artwork colors associated with your signage.  This could be a brochure, any print material or a print out from your computer showing colors that you approve.  However we cannot guaranty perfect color matching unless you request that we send color proofs to you printed on our equipment for your approval.  Please allow and extra week for this type of color proofing.  Colors you see on your monitor or files printed by another vendor on their equipment do not necessarily match what will be printed on our equipment.  If you do not request color proofs be sent to you or you do not allow enough time, we cannot be held responsible for color matching.

File Types needed for large format printing:

Best- Vector (line based) file types such as "eps", "ai", "cdr" and some "pdf".  These files can be emailed and have an unlimited size potential (please convert fonts to curves or outlines or include fonts).  NOTE: These same file types CAN have low quality images embedded in them, so not all “eps”, “ai”, “cdr” or “pdf” are high quality.

Good- High Resolution Raster (dot based) files such as "psd", "tif", "and some pdf".  These files are large in size and sometimes need to be uploaded on to our ftp site.  Do not flatten layers.  We would like to have a minimum of 100 dpi at full size and CMYK.  Fonts either outlined, converted to curves, provided or rasterized.  K or black should be mixed not just 100% K.

Poor- Raster (dot based) files such as "jpg", "gif", "bmp" and "doc".  These files are most of the time very small and low resolution, made to be displayed on the web only.
If no other file types are available, sometimes we can make these files work.
